For my magazine I have got inspiration from a Q magazine like the one above. This gave me inspiration to only use a few colours such as red and black, a bold simple logo. A main image with the indirect mode of address, I may use this idea for mine because it is good and for my category of magazine it would work so this sort of magazine is inspiration to mine.

Here is a copy of my main image I shall use for my front cover. I feel like this meets the criteria of indie because of his look and clothing and expression.

Here i have done some research and found some clothing that an indie band wear and they are very plain and dark clothes, with coats on so this sort of idea I will want my band to be wearing.
